Amy Africa has been in the forefront of web usability studies, web design improvement, and successful e-commerce for more than 10 years. Amy has been widely published and has spoken at web conferences around the globe. Her depth of knowledge, backed by intensive field testing and web user studies, has earned her the reputation of a voice to be heard on Internet topics ranging from site improvement, traffic building and mobile to analytics and e-mail marketing.

Paul Miller
VP E-Commerce, W.W. Grainger

Paul Miller is responsible for leading and managing Grainger e-commerce strategies across all brands, ensuring a superior online customer experience. Paul has an impressive leadership background in e-commerce and direct marketing and extensive experience in high-volume multichannel environments. Before joining Grainger, Paul led a start-up division of Enservio, a venture-backed company that services property-insurance carriers. Prior to Enservio, Paul was SVP, Direct Commerce for Sears Holding Corporation and VP of E-Commerce for Williams-Sonoma. Additionally, he has held product and brand positions within Kraft and Clorox in Canada. Paul earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and his MBA from York University.

Stephan Spencer
Sought-after SEO expert, consultant, and speaker; author of The Art of SEO

Stephan Spencer is co-author of The Art of SEO, a 600-page primer on search engine optimization published by O'Reilly. Stephan founded Netconcepts in 1995 as an interactive agency, and over time it morphed into an SEO firm. Netconcepts was acquired by Covario in January 2010. Stephan left in September 2010 to start several new ventures. He is the inventor of GravityStream, a pay-for-performance SEO technology now rebranded as Covario's Organic Search Optimizer. He is a highly sought-after conference speaker on SEO and other online marketing topics. His hundreds of speaking gigs have taken him around the globe — Berlin, London, Toronto, Santiago, and Auckland, as well as across the US. Stephan lived in New Zealand for nearly 8 years, where he built a production office a block from the beach. He returned to the US in 2007. Stephan writes for Search Engine Land, Multichannel Merchant, and Practical Ecommerce, among others. He has a masters degree in biochemistry.

Shawn Dennis
SVP Marketing, American Girl

Shawn Dennis is responsible for the strategic direction and corporate growth of American Girl. She oversees all product development, direct and retail marketing, book and magazine development, corporate communications, consumer insights, and business intelligence. Prior to joining American Girl, Ms. Dennis served as the group head and Vice President, Global Branding at computer giant Dell and as CMO and Vice President for the National Football League (NFL). She also served as VP of Global Co-branding with MasterCard International and as VP of Corporate Alliances with Universal Studios. Ms. Dennis is active in the non-profit arena and serves on the International Committee and National Board of the American Heart Association. She has a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Mona Elesseily
VP Online Marketing Strategy, Page Zero Media

Mona focuses on paid search strategy and conversion improvement at Page Zero Media. She has significantly improved campaign performance for brands such as Capital One,, Cathay Pacific, The Jimmy Pattison Group and others. She regularly speaks at Canadian, U.S. and international online marketing events on paid search, landing-page optimization, ad-copy creation and integrated online-marketing strategy. Mona has written two books on Yahoo! and is a columnist for Search Engine Land. She also writes for the Yahoo! Search blog, IMedia Connection and the American Marketing Association. Mona serves on the advisory board of Acquisio Inc. and served on the advisory board of Yahoo! Search Marketing until it was disbanded in 2010. She is an active member of the search and online marketing community and is passionate about strategic online marketing and challenging online marketing projects.

Adam Rortvedt
Marketing Manager, CNH

Adam joined CNH as marketing manager and currently manages the North American e-commerce solution utilized by more than 850 dealerships to sell parts to consumers. Adam manages all aspects of the e-commerce solution including SEO strategies, digital ad placement, coupon center, network interfacing and continuous improvements. Adam is currently pioneering the sale of capital goods online by an OEM, creating a new revenue channel for the industry. Prior to joining CNH, Adam was a consultant helping B2B clients increase their sales revenue through digital channels. His expertise is based on discoveries while innovating solutions in traditional industries, as well as years of analytics and CRM training.
