From increasing transportation prices, to capacity shortages, to changing regulations, the realities of the current international shipping environment have presented importers and exporters alike with a new set of challenges to navigate. At this meeting, guest presenters from the freight forwarding and customs brokerage industries shared their perspectives on current trends, their implications, and how they are counseling clients to respond. A subsequent discussion focused on the experiences of member companies and the strategies they are pursuing to address current challenges. |

Cross-border logistics is growing increasingly complex and costly. At this meeting, participants discussed their companies' approaches to the effective management of import and export transportation. Member companies Lands' End and Harley-Davidson shared their overviews of their outbound and inbound transportation respectively. Following the presentations, member companies discussed the common challenges related to international transportation, as well as strategies and resources for overcoming these challenges. |
