We’re always pleased to welcome new member companies to the UWEBC. This month, we have the pleasure of announcing two new additions to our collaborative learning community: Northwestern Mutual and RUUD Lighting.

Begun in 1857, Milwaukee-based financial services company Northwestern Mutual has weathered our nation’s biggest storms: The Civil War, the Great Depression, two world wars and dozens of very tough recessions. We think that kind of experience offers other UWEBC members a valuable perspective. We look forward to their participating in the member-to-member collaboration that characterizes the UWEBC.

Racine-based RUUD Lighting is an ISO-9001-2000-certified manufacturer and marketer of industrial, commercial and residential lighting fixtures. The company was founded in 1982 by engineer and designer Alan Ruud, whose innovative, patented designs help define the company’s strong position in the B2B lighting marketplace. We’re excited to welcome RUUD Lighting to the consortium.

We’re certain both Northwestern Mutual and RUUD Lighting will enhance our focus on thought leadership, business best practices and emerging technologies. Please join us in welcoming these two great companies to the UWEBC!
