IT Executives Circle Peer Group

Topic:
Building and Presenting Business Cases
One of the key roles of the CIO is managing the process by which line-of-business needs become projects, then applications. A key hurdle is getting approval for the project business case. Business case development requires technical expertise, business knowledge and experience, and in most cases, a well-documented process that recognizes the roles of lines of business, information technology, and governing organizations.
For this meeting we plan to use case studies to illustrate business case processing. How do we partner with lines of business to build cases? How does the governance process measure business value? Tools and metrics that have proven useful to member companies will take center stage.
Please note our new schedule! Lunch will be served. The expanded time for this program should provide more strategic insights for your investment in travel, especially if you're coming from outside of the Plymouth area. Lunch will provide valuable networking time with your peers.
